About

Welcome to A La Carte Yoga!

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I am a yoga teacher, personal trainer and wellness coach.

My wellness journey has brought me to feel more vibrant, energetic and healthy in my fifties than I did in my thirties. Years of challenging academics and being a busy mother to four wonderful kids gave me lots of experience with the physical and emotional effects of stress. I started exploring pathways to wellness because of a loved one's health issue, and because I wanted to feel better. Yoga, exercise, meditative self-inquiry, and moving to a plant-based diet completely changed my energy level and sense of well-being.

I discovered that age is an attitude. Our bodies can heal and return to a vibrant state of health far beyond what I had known was possible. It's never too late to start feeling better. My own frustrating health issues--allergies, asthma, painful varicose veins, and a chronic repetitive stress injury--disappeared with lifestyle change. And with ongoing self-inquiry work, I have found freedom to move beyond limiting beliefs and have more loving and joyous connections with others.

Just as each of us is different and unique, so are our paths to wellness and balance. It brings me joy to help others explore and take the steps needed to feel and live better.

I'd love to connect with you about your needs, interests, and path to greater well-being.  Drop me an email at rebecca@alacarteyoga.com, or get in touch by phone at (508) 444-2601.
